“I've spent the past 15 years cruising the world. What began simply as a passion for travel slowly turned into something more.”
Along the way, I started noticing a new and fascinating part of the industry beginning to emerge: residential cruising.
Only recently did I begin exploring the idea of living at sea more seriously. As I looked deeper into the different residential cruise programs being developed around the world, I realized something quickly. The information was scattered, often unclear, and very difficult to compare.
For anyone trying to understand the options, it was surprisingly hard to get a clear overview.
That's what inspired me to create Cruise Residence.
I built Cruise Residence as an independent platform to give people clear visibility into the growing world of residential cruise lines. My goal is to make it easier to understand the different concepts, ownership structures, pricing models, and lifestyles these programs offer.
Because I've spent so many years on ships, I approach residential cruising from a practical perspective. I focus on the things that matter if someone is considering this lifestyle — community, itinerary design, onboard experience, financial structure, and the overall reality of living on a ship long-term.
Residential cruising is still a young and evolving space, and new projects continue to appear. Through Cruise Residence, I follow these developments closely and share insights that help people better understand what it might look like to make the ocean their home.
